In the early 12th century, two children, a boy and a girl, emerged in the town of Woolpit with clothes made of a strange, foreign material, and sporting verdant green skin. They spoke in an unknown dialect and refused to eat any of the local food. Soon after, the boy died, but the girl slowly learned the local language and began consuming bread.

Created in the 1400's, the Voynich Manuscript is a mysterious hand-written book filled with hundreds of bizarre illustrations. It's author, language, and script remain unknown. On this episode of Don't Be Seen, entitled "Poem to a Cipher", Kevin plumbs everything from cassette-only 80's art-pop to next week's fractal-obsessed bands.
